Marketing and Communications Lead

Responsible for developing strategies for our social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining productive working relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors and community relations.


Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develops strategies on the best way to market workshops and events

  • Communicates professionally to other organizations or businesses

  • Outlines social media posts and marketing campaigns on the team calendar

  • Creates dynamic written, graphics, and video content

  • Engage with the online community in a respectful way.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Must hold experience in social media marketing and/or willing to learn; how to write press releases, donation letters and cold emails/ calls 

  • Knowledge, experience and ability to market and promote events

  • Must be pursuing College/University education in Business, Marketing, Communications or Media Arts/ Production

  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving and time management skills.  

  • Advanced skills using social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube).

  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
