Social Media Assistant

Will assist the Marketing and Communication Manager in copywriting official documents, record keeping and taking minutes at meetings. You are also responsible for creating copy and posting content on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. 


Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist Marketing and Communication Manager with keeping track of upcoming campaigns and ensuring they launch as per the appropriate calendar date.

  • Track, measure and assist with the analysis of post-launch campaign activities.

  • Proactively develop knowledge of the digital media landscape.

  • Develop proficiency with necessary media research tools, systems, and software.

  • Creates dynamic written, graphics, and video content

  • Engage with the online community in a respectful way.


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Currently in Grade 11, 12 or College/ University 

  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and time management skills.  

  • Advanced skills using social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube).

  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

  • Strong learning agility, with a passion for continuous development.
